Johnny Cupcakes L.A Anniversary
Johnny Earle's indie clothing brand, Johnny Cupcakes, celebrated their 1 year anniversary in Los Angeles recently. The company has been going strong since '01 & the hundreds of fans that showed up, a week early and camped outside just shows what the movement has become - that's some inspirational designing!

Probably most famous for his music (in Japan), as a member of the Boredoms - although it has been said that the music and art are connected and related, not to be separated - true expression has no limits...I guess.

2009 Taipei Toy Festival
The date for this festival must be marked out on most toy fanatic's calendars, as it's their opportunity not only to meet some of the top artists & designers around at the moment - but also to bid for rare limited edition toys!
Simone Legno of Tokidoki (the art label) fame, was the guest artist, asked to design the theme and banner for the event.
